It was such a quick month, and yet it's hard to believe it's only been a month since Yul's home coming! He is adjusting so well. He just has such an easy-going personality. He loves to help, and happily joins in on chores or projects. He does so well at all his medical appointments and even getting lab work and testing done. He also gets along with all his siblings, and is well-loved by us all!

Happy Birthday Sam!
Sam is nine! He loves the movie Planes, so that was the theme of his birthday this year. He has grown up so much and we are so proud of him!

Navy Midshipman
So proud of our son Freddie who is now officially a midshipman in the Villanova University Naval ROTC program. The ceremony and swearing in was very moving. The younger kids did a great job at the event. I loved snapping a picture of Maddie and seeing Yul in the background signing "I love you".

A Busy Week
Yul had his appointment at the International Adoption Clinic this week. It was a long appointment with lots of testing, and he was pretty much a rock star. Every single person who met him agreed we were truly blessed to add this special guy to our family. They had an interpreter at the appointment, and she was really wonderful. She was able to tell him that he was home forever, no leaving like after his hosting. He was pretty exhausted after spending hours being tested, and was sad. We weren't sure if maybe he was grieving his friends and caregivers from the orphanage, or felt frustrated by the language barrier, or maybe a combination. Caroline got him to help her bake chocolate chip cookies, and that was a helpful distraction! He woke up his normal happy self!
