Sam's Krazy Kar!

Isn't this cool? After seeing Sam love the hand crank ride at Knoebels, I was determined to find him some type of adaptive bike. We found this very cool and relatively inexpensive ($69.99 on Amazon) compared to "real" specialty bikes (thousands of dollars!). He wants to do whatever the other kids are doing and he is determined to learn a way. I love his persistence and that he doesn't become frustrated or quit. He is such a great role model. He is going to achieve great things!

That looks like so much fun! I want one (for myself).

It's great to see how Sam is adapting to life in America! :)

OK, you have no idea how glad I am to find your blog! Well, actually, you probably do have an idea, but anyway, I'm so glad you have Sullivan. When did you get him?? We adopted two boys from Ukraine in 2010. One (Ruslan) from Vorzel, one (Roman) from Boyarka. Roman was in the same room as Sullivan, who broke my heart. His is just one of those many faces who linger (constantly) in the back of my mind. Anyway, I have been avoiding Reeces Rainbow, since it's so haunting, but I took a quick peek today and was SO GRATEFUL to see that Sullivan has a home. BLESS YOU!!
